Bhutan, Beyond the Ordinary

Singye Dzong

Singye Dzong

Singye Dzong is one of the most remote and deeply sacred pilgrimage sites in Bhutan, located near the northern border within a high-altitude wilderness basin. According to tradition, Guru Rinpoche meditated here during his 8th-century journey, leaving behind sacred imprints on the surrounding rocks and caves.

Reaching Singye Dzong requires a grueling multi-day trek through dense forests, alpine meadows, and steep mountain passes. Due to its spiritual purity, seclusion, and natural beauty, it remains a bucket-list journey for devout pilgrims and dedicated trekkers seeking deep meditation environments.
